Meet The Staff

3rd Generation owner. Russells' grandfather started the business. Very outdoorsy people. They care about their employee's and consider everyone here to be family.

Brad is the Vice President of Schafer Chevrolet and we certainly wouldn't be the same without him! We are proud to say Brad has been with us for over 30 years! When not at work, you can find Brad enjoying the outdoors in the many ways Michigan has to offer. He has always had an avid interest in dirt bikes, but has recently decided to race them. His additional hobbies consist of kayaking, camping(even in the winter) and spending time with his lovely wife, Karen, who is our Title Clerk here. Brad and Karen met while he was stationed in England, they have been happily married for over 31 years.

Jared lives with his wife Brianna and his two daughters: Rosie and Lily. He enjoys golfing, watching sports and working on his farm. He is a die-hard Lions fan and refuses to miss a single game. Jared started working for Schafer Chevrolet in 2011 and is a valued part of our team!

Eric started working for Schafer Chevrolet in 2009 and served in the U.S Coast Guard from 2005 until December of 2015. He has since proven to be a huge asset to our team and is now Sales Manager. His interests include Scuba diving, Snowboarding, Frisbee Golf, and mountain bike riding. He also enjoys playing golf on the weekends, although he says he is no good at it.

Tiffany joined the Finance team in April 2018. When not hard at work, her husband Ben and her are kept busy with their two children. Her other hobbies include baking, reading, and creating a variety of crafts. Cross stitching is her favorite!

Karen has been with Schafer Chevrolet since 2001 and is married to Brad Gross, the Vice President. She was born and raised in England and met Brad while he was stationed there. Karen enjoys movies, reading and Golfing in the summer.

Brianna loves to spend time in her garden growing everything possible. She has 3 dogs and enjoys taking them hiking, swimming and camping around Michigan. Cooking and reading are also some of her favorite hobbies. Both her husband and brother-in-law also work here at Schafer Chevrolet.

Kim started working for Schafer Chevrolet in 2014 and is one of our top sales associates with customers that love her! She is a hardworking, dedicated individual who enjoys bowling, golfing and spending time with her daughter, Cali. On Friday nights you will find Kim at Tri-City Speedway watching the races.

Randy has worked for Schafer Chevrolet since 1997 - not only in our sales department, but service as well. This means Randy has a great background and skill set that make him an outstanding sales rep. His interests include fat tire(snow) bikes, trail riding and water skiing. He is married with two daughters and can now add grandpa to the resume.

Joseph is an Afghanistan veteran. He started selling cars here at Schafer Chevrolet in 2014. His hobbies include golfing, camping, out door activities, and exploring new places. With a last name like Carr, he is in the right business!

Kasey joined the Schafer Chevrolet team in March 2018. When not hard at work, he loves spending time with his loving wife Katie of 11 years, and his son Ethan! Otherwise, you can find him hunting, fishing, and enjoying other outdoors activities! Baseball is one of his favorite pastimes as he is a die-hard Detroit Tigers Fan!

Dan joined the Schafer Chevrolet family in the Spring of 2018. When not hard at work, he enjoys Kayaking and visiting with family. During football season, you will find him watching the game with his Father and two brothers! One of those brothers happens to be Jared, who is also a General Manager here at Schafer Chevrolet!

Ed Lives in the Au Gres area, when not at Schafer Chevrolet, you can find Ed spending time with his 4 beautiful children! On Sundays, Ed enjoys long walks to the couch for NFL Sunday. He also really enjoys fishing, he really knows how to reel them in.

James lives here in Pinconning and started in our service department in February 2023. James likes disc golf, fishing, riding ATV's and is heard he plays a mean guitar!

Kurt lives in Standish and enjoys traveling, golf, smoking meats and fishing. Kurt has 1 son whom he's always sharing these activities with. When he's not at Schafer Chevrolet or enjoying those activities, he's typically welding for his business Redthin Services LLC. Glad your here Kurt!

Rosie works along side her family here at Schafer Chevrolet but in her free time you can find her hitting the beach, exploring hiking trails or relaxing with her three dogs and a good book. She has a long history in dance and is currently working towards her goal of a solo international trip within the next few years. Welcome aboard Rosie!

Kris joined our team in April 2018. She started in the marketing department and now is the Business Development Manager. Kris has 2 kids, one graduated from Logan University College of Chiropractic and the other from CMU in Rec Therapy. She also has 1 fur baby/rescue Zoey. Kris loves photography, Ford Mustangs, boating and also has found a new love in fishing.

Grace just joined us here at Schafer Chevrolet in July 2024. She lives in Bay City and just graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in May of 2024. Grace enjoys spending time with her family including all of her fur babies, likes to line dance, golf and her favorite food is sushi. Welcome aboard Grace!

Dawn practically grew up at Schafer's! She has been here since 1994, both in sales and in the service department. Dawn loves baseball, so much in fact, that she has the unique ability to love both the Tigers and the Yankees!! In the summer she enjoys playing softball on a league and golfing.

Tonya has been working here since 2016 and started out in our recon department. She has been promoted three times and is now an Assistant Fixed Operations Manager. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her five children and fiance. Tonya and her family enjoy family movie nights, camping, mud bogging, and going to the lake.

Tom joined the Schafer Chevrolet family in the fall of 2015! Since then, he has prepared over 9,000 vehicles for the marketing process. Before Schafer Chevrolet, Tom spent 15 years as a Journeymen Electrician. He then retired from that profession, but his experience and knowledge continues to make him a valuable resource to our team. When it is time to relax, you may find time hitting the slopes as he is an avid downhill skier! Once summer comes around, Tom can also be found riding his dirtbike(s), racing R/C Cars, and adding just a little more salt to his bacon!

Dan has been with us since February of 2015 and has been a great employee and friend to everyone here. During the summer, you're more than likely to find him at local fair's figure 8 derby. He also enjoys camping with his family.

Larry started at Schafer in 2007, but he has been doing body work for over 37 years! We are very lucky to have a Body Shop Manager who is so experienced. Old cars are a big interest of his, both driving them and going to car shows. He also collects Antique Schwinn Bicycles. Larry grew up locally and still lives right here in Pinconning.

Dennis lives in Rose City, MI, graduating from Ogemaw High School. When Dennis isn't doing a fantastic job cleaning cars, he spends time with his 2 kids by taking them swimming or going on vacation trips with them. Keep up the great work Dennis!
